This Privacy Policy describes how Shanti Infraconstruct Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information within our internal Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, including messages sent through the ERP using the WhatsApp Business API provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. ("Meta"). This ERP system is an internal tool intended solely for use by our employees and is not available to the general public.
This policy applies only to employees of Shanti Infraconstruct Pvt. Ltd. who are provided access credentials to the ERP system, and to employees who receive WhatsApp messages sent by the ERP for business purposes.
The ERP system may collect and store information such as employee name, employee ID, department, work phone number, login activity, and other operational data entered by employees or administrators in the course of business (for example, attendance, project, inventory, or finance related records). Where the ERP sends messages over WhatsApp, we also process the employee's WhatsApp phone number and the content and delivery status of messages sent (for example, attendance reminders, approvals, alerts, or OTPs).
Information collected in the ERP system is used only to operate and administer internal business processes, including project management, HR administration, reporting, internal communication, and sending work related notifications to employees over WhatsApp.
To deliver WhatsApp notifications, our ERP sends the employee's work phone number and message content to Meta's WhatsApp Business API (Cloud API) solely to transmit the message. Meta processes this data as our service provider, in accordance with Meta's own WhatsApp Business API terms and data policies, and we do not authorize Meta to use this data for advertising or any purpose beyond delivering the message. We do not use the WhatsApp Business API to message members of the public, only our own employees.
We do not sell or rent ERP data. Data is shared only with Meta as described above to deliver WhatsApp messages, with authorized personnel within the company on a need to know basis, or with service providers who support our IT infrastructure under confidentiality obligations.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data stored in the ERP system, and data transmitted via WhatsApp, from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Employee data, including WhatsApp message logs, is retained for as long as necessary to fulfil business, legal, and record keeping requirements, and is deleted or anonymized when no longer required.
Employees may contact the company using the details below to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data held in the ERP system, or to opt out of WhatsApp notifications, subject to applicable law and legitimate business requirements.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
